Relief on the inflation and interest rate fronts should start to kick in from the second half of next year. Along with an assumption of reduced load-shedding, a continuation of the green-energy investment boom, and with the caveat that the 2024 election does not lead to unstable multiparty coalitions in some key provinces, this should lay the groundwork for a push towards 2% real GDP growth from 2025 onwards.
